Personal Registration on Invitation:
An existing Doxit user can send you an email invitation. Simply click on the link in the email and follow the instructions.
An existing Doxit user can use Doxit to send you a document. The notification email will include a link to view the document. It also includes a link which you can click to register. You can choose to only view the document as a non-Doxit-registered user, or click on Activate Account and follow the instructions to register a PERSONAL Doxit account and have access to the full history of documents received.
Personal Self-Registration:
You can register yourself. Go to the Doxit home page (www.doxit.co.za) and click on the red REGISTER button, or click on this link and follow the instructions: https://app.doxit.co.za/user/self_register
If you want to log into Doxit just click on the red “LOGIN” button on the Doxit home page (www.doxit.co.za) or follow this link https://app.doxit.co.za/session/login. Make sure when you log in that you use the correct Login ID. This would be either your email address or a special Doxit ID which was sent to you by email upon registration. Enter your password, and if asked for an OTP check for an SMS on your cellphone.
If you forgot your password just follow the "Forgot Password" link on the Doxit login page, or click on (https://app.doxit.co.za/session/request_password_reset/). Make sure to read the instructions and follow all the steps carefully in order to reset your password successfully.
The OTP will be delivered via SMS to your cellphone. If you do not receive the OTP, make sure that you entered your cellphone number correctly. Make sure your phone is switched on and that you have reception. If all is correct on your side and you still do not receive an OTP, please contact us via Email: info@doxit.co.za or WhatsApp: 073 844 1354.
Yes! Doxit can deliver documents to someone who is not a registered Doxit user as long as you have the recipient's email address. Doxit will send an email to the recipient containing a link to click on to view the document over a secure encrypted channel. The encrypted channel ensures the confidentiality of the document. For improved security, optionally also enter the recipient’s cellphone number when sending the document. If the recipient’s cellphone number is entered, Doxit will confirm the recipient’s identity by sending an OTP to his phone. Only if the recipient can enter the correct OTP will Doxit let them view the document
Follow the steps below to send a document to a recipient who is not registered as a Doxit user:
Log into Doxit.
Upload the document into your workspace.
Select the document you want to send.
Click on the send icon.
Enter the recipient’s name.
A popup will be displayed if the person is not an existing Doxit user, prompting you to enter the name & surname, cellphone number (optional) and the email address of the recipient.
Enter the recipient's details (cellphone number is optional for added security).
Click on “ADD TO RECIPIENTS”
Repeat this to add more recipients if necessary.
Click on the “SEND” button.
The recipient will receive an email notification containing a link to view the document.
Doxit will deliver any document type. Doxit will deliver the document in exactly the same format that it was uploaded. For display purposes, Doxit converts all documents to the PDF format, if possible. The recipient can download either the original format, or download the PDF format.
WARNING: Because it is so easy to view the PDF-version of the document, recipients may mistakenly think that PDF is the only format of the document, and miss that the document has also been delivered in its original format. This is especially important when sending a spreadsheet which has not been well-formatted to print on A4 pages.
Please note that only the PDF-format of documents are signed. If you send a MS Word document to be signed, the signed PDF version of the document will replace both the original PDF version and the original MS Word document.
Doxit is not (yet) available as a stand-alone app. Access to Doxit is through web browsers such as Chrome, Firefox, Edge, etc, from personal computers, tablets and cellphones.
You can use Doxit for different purposes, such as for private or business use. Doxit helps you separate your work and your documents for these different purposes. Doxit offers a single login but with different roles in which to act after logging in. Every role has its own separate workspace and history of sent and received documents. When you register to use Doxit, you act by default in your private capacity (private role) when logging in. You may also have a role as an employee of a company, or as a member of a school board, for example. Every time you log into Doxit, you can choose in which role you want to act when uploading, sending and receiving documents.
When working in your private role, you personally own all documents you send and receive. When you act in a role which you have been appointed in by an organization, such as your employer, that organization owns the documents you send and receive.
There are 5 options:
FREE
Use the FREE Plan if you want to try out a limited set of Doxit document compilation tools before registering a Doxit account.
To access these FREE tools, click on the red “TRY FREE PDF TOOLS” button on the Doxit home page.
The FREE plan includes: - Access to perform 20 basic toolbox actions per day (until midnight). - 50 MB of workspace per day (documents are kept until midnight only). - No signing or sending of documents possible.
PERSONAL
The biggest limitation of the Free Plan is that the workspace is temporary. It only lasts until midnight. If you work on a project that takes more than one day, you can register a Doxit account under the PERSONAL plan.
If you want to use Doxit in your private capacity and you do not plan to use Doxit often enough to justify a monthly payment, the PERSONAL plan is the right choice. Signing and sending document are not for free, but you can simply buy a SIGN bundle or a SEND bundle when you need to send or sign. Use your credit or debit card to pay on-line for these bundles.
To register a PERSONAL Doxit account, click on the red “REGISTER” button on the home page and follow the instructions.
The PERSONAL plan includes: - Access to perform 100 toolbox actions per month. - 50 MB of workspace (documents are available until you de-register).
Once you have a PERSONAL plan account, you can also: - Buy a SIGN bundle if you need to sign any documents. - Buy a SEND bundle if you need to send documents to a recipient to sign.
PERSONAL+
If you find the amount of document storage in your PERSONAL account too limiting, or if you send and sign documents regularly, or if you run a small one-person business, it makes sense to upgrade to a PERSONAL+ account.
You can upgrade your PERSONAL plan to a PERSONAL+ plan by buying a PERSONAL+ bundle. Select the automatic monthly subscription renewal to save you the trouble of having to do a transaction every month.
Should the payments for your PERSONAL+ plan stop, you will revert back to a PERSONAL plan. Should the documents in your workspace then exceed the space available under the PERSONAL plan, you will not be able to use the document compilation tools until you have either deleted some documents or again bought a PERSONAL+ bundle.
BUSINESS
Although you may be able to run a small one- or two- person business with PERSONAL+ plans, for any larger business, it makes sense to rather use the BUSINESS Plan.
The BUSINESS Plan offers features and functions specifically designed for business use, such as branding of notifications and letterheads, business ownership of all documents and the ability to monitor what employees do. Employees can cooperate by sharing their workspaces with one-another. Standard document templates (such as leave forms, purchase agreements etc.) can easily be share with all employees. The bundles bought under a BUSINESS Plan are pooled for use by all registered employees.

ENTERPRISE
If your business has separate branches, departments, or franchises, the ENTERPRISE plan is the best option. The ENTERRISE plan combines a number of BUSINESS plans under one license. For example, a franchisor can register an ENTERPRISE account which combines the BUSINESS accounts for all franchises under one umbrella. Every franchisee can only monitor and manage its own BUSINESS account, while the franchisor (owner of the ENTERPRISE account) can monitor and manage all BUSINESS accounts. Click on the red dollar sign in the top menu and follow the instructions to buy a PERSONAL+ bundle. As soon as payment is received, your PERSONAL account will be upgraded to a PERSONAL+ account and you will have access to the PERSONAL+ features. The bundle is valid for one month. If you would like to automatically pay for a new bundle each month, select the “Subscribe” option when you purchase the PERSONAL+ bundle. You can cancel the subscription any time.

1. Register to use Doxit.
2. Log into Doxit. A dollar ($) icon will be displayed in the top right corner of the landing page. Click on the dollar icon.
3. The following window will be displayed.
4. Click on PURCHASE BUNDLE.
5. Select the bundle that you would like to use.
6. Click on PURCHASE NOW. This will redirect you to the Pay Fast payment gateway where you can pay with a debit or credit card.
Some bundles are valid for a fixed period, for example thirty days. To ensure continuity, you have to buy another bundle on the expiry date. To make this easier, Doxit has implemented a subscription option. When this option is selected when the bundle is purchased, Doxit will automatically purchase another bundle on the expiry date.

3. Click on the CANCEL SUBSCRIPTION button. Automatic future purchases of this bundle will be stopped. Existing active purchased bundles will not be affected.
“Sign” and “Send” are two Doxit actions that you can perform on a document. “Sign” and “Send” are also two billing units. In other words, you pay for “Signing” and for “Sending” documents.
You can upload and self-sign a document. You can only do this if you have signing credits (e.g. after having bought a “Sign” bundle.) When self-signing a document, you place multiple signatures and/or initials on the document pages. When you commit the signing process, it will cost you ONE signing credit.
When you send a document to a recipient, it costs ONE sending credit. When you send a document to TWO recipients, it costs TWO sending credits. When you send two documents to two recipients, it costs FOUR sending credits.
You can also send documents to be signed by the recipients. You pay for every send and every signature request. For example: When sending two documents to two recipients to be signed by both, it costs FOUR sending credits and FOUR signing credits.
Doxit keeps a history of all transactions you performed for which you have been billed (deducted from the bundles you have purchased): 1. Click on the dollar ($) sign.
2. Click on the ACTIONS BILLED button. You will see all the actions that you have been billed for.
